Showplace sets the stage for creativity and event innovation with unique spaces and personalized service. The Erica Cherney Theatre, Cogeco Studio, and Sunshine Sean Eyre Lobby are all available for rent and have all been used for a variety of purposes. Standard bar services are provided by Showplace Performance Centre. Additionally, the theatre is now fully licensed and alcoholic beverages can now be taken into the main theatre to enjoy.

The capacity of the theatre is 647 seats (368 on the main floor, 279 in the balcony). The Cogeco Studio seats 100 comfortably, with a 200 person capacity while the main lobby capacity is around 60.

Capacity Limits are subject to government restrictions related to COVID-19 and are subject to change at short notice.

Accessibility

There is a lift available that stops in the main lobby (main floor access to the theatre only), as well as the lower lobby and Cogeco Studio. However, please note that the lift does not go to the balcony.
